Lakers fans still don't like Dwight Howard, right? They'll be able to show that right off the bat since the Lakers are opening the season against Howard's Rockets, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin. The game could be on Oct. 28 or 29.

Assuming Kobe Bryant stays healthy, this will be the first time he'll face the Rockets since Howard left the Lakers for Houston in the summer of 2013. Kobe was injured for all four of last season's contests.
Los Angeles is also playing on Christmas for the 16th straight season, where they'll take on Derrick Rose and the Bulls.
