In a surprise, LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly won't play their first game until the third day of the NBA season. Cleveland's first contest will be Thursday, Oct. 30 at home against the Knicks, according to Yahoo! Sports' Marc Spears and Adrian Wojnarowski.

It's not clear why that game won't happen, though it's possible the league decided that the Spurs' ring ceremony deserved to be the undisputed story. San Antonio will instead face Dallas.
