Mike Conley to miss Game 4 after getting hit in the face with an elbow
The Grizzlies point guard will return to Memphis for further evaluation and won’t play in Game 4 on Monday.
After being evaluated in the locker room, Conley left the arena to head to a local medical facility for further evaluation, according to Rob Fischer. Conley’s left eye was reportedly swollen.
The incident occurred late in the third quarter when Conley took a swipe at the ball but got hit inadvertently by C.J. McCollum’s elbow. Conley immediately went down on the court and remained down while the play continued on the other end. He was then attended to by trainers at the next stoppage and was able to walk off the court. Conley held a towel up to his face as he headed to the locker room.
