Of all the former Syracuse Orange basketball players that were said to be a part of Friday night's Midnight Madness Legends Game, Carmelo Anthony was the one many SU fans have been excited to see. Midnight Madness: Carmelo Anthony En Route To Syracuse For Legends Game
Looks like he’s gonna make it after all. Multiple sources are confirming that Anthony is en route to Syracuse to take part in the festivities. He joins an impressive list of former Orange greats.
One team will be coached by Derrick Coleman and Pearl Washington. That team will consist of Lazarus Sims, John Wallace, Donte Greene, Adrian Autry, Hakim Warrick and Lawrence Moten.
The other team will be coached by Mike Hopkins and Billy Owens. That squad will include Jonny Flynn, Wes Johnson, Gerry McNamara, Howard Triche and Roosevelt Bouie.
Whichever team he suits up for might have just been named the favorite.
