    After weathering a run that gave Georgetown the lead and another that cut a late lead to a single possession, Syracuse prevailed in their Big East conference showdown against the Hoyas, 58-51.

    Midway through the Big East’s marquee game of the day, Syracuse is up 33-23 on Georgetown and halfway to returning the favor the Hoyas paid the Orange with a win at the Carrier Dome earlier this month.
