No. 10 Michigan State vs. Minnesota: Spartans Win By 16 To Get Tom Izzo His 400th Career Win

The Michigan State Spartans got head coach Larry Izzo his 400th career win with a 68-52 win over Minnesota on Wednesday night.

Senior forward Draymond Green had a team-high 22 points and 14 rebounds as the No. 10 Michigan St. Spartans improved to 17-4 on the 2011 season and 6-2 in the Big Ten with their 68-52 win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Wednesday night.

With the win, Spartans head coach Larry Izzo picked up the 400th win of his career.

Complementing Green on Wednesday night was freshman guard Branden Dawson, who was seven-of-10 from the field and had 16 points and added four offensive rebounds for the Spartans, who won their second straight after back-to-back losses to Northwestern and Michigan. The Spartans are off for the remainder of the week before traveling to Illinois on January 31.

For the Golden Gophers, who are 15-6 overall and 3-5 in the Big Ten, junior forward Rodney Williams had a team-high 15 points while senior Ralph Sampson III had 10 points and a pair of rebounds. The Golden Gophers host Illinois on Saturday night.
