No. 22 Kansas State vs. Texas Tech: Wildcats Cruise To 69-47 Victory Over Red Raiders

The Kansas State Wildcats picked up an easy win over the Texas Tech Raiders on Wednesday.

The No. 22 Kansas St. Wildcats picked up a road win in Lubbock, Tx., on Wednesday night by defeating the Texas Tech Red Raiders, 69-47. Martavious Irving led the way with 16 points for the Wildcats.

Kansas State's Rodney McGruder was the only other double-digit scorer for the team, putting in 13 points. He also grabbed six rebounds and stole the ball three times. Fourteen different players saw time on the court for Kansas State. The team also took advantage of 24 Texas Tech turnovers, including 12 steals on them.

Texas Tech had just four scorers in the game. Starters Jordan Tolbert and Kevin Wagner scored 18 and 16 points, respectively. Jaye Crockett and Luke Adams combined for the remaining 13 points by coming off the bench. Javarez Wilson was 0-for-8 from the field.

Kansas State takes its three-game winning streak back home to Manhattan, KS, to host the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday.
