The No. 13 Baylor Bears found themselves down three at halftime of Saturday's game against the Oklahoma Sooners. Timely 3-point shooting in the second half helped the Bears avoid the big upset, however, and record a 70-60 victory for their 24th win on the season.

Baylor went just 3-for-12 from beyond the 3-point arc in the first half. In the second, they went 5-for-10, with all five makes coming from different players. The Sooners, meanwhlie, were awful from long range, missing all 12 of their attempts. They shot 46 percent in the first half, but finished at just 39 percent for the game as foul trouble began to eat at their lineup.

Forward Tyler Neal played 15 minutes off the bench to spell Romero Osby and Andrew Fitzgerald, both of whom finished with four fouls. Neal went 0-for-6 from the field, however, attempting five 3-pointers and missing all of them in his limited time on the floor. Steven Pledger led the Sooners with 21 points, but also finished 0-for-5 beyond the arc.

Pierre Jackson led the Bears with 18 points on 6-for-10 from the field. Quincy Miller pitched in 12 along with nine rebounds. The Bears close their season out with Texas Tech at home on Monday, and Iowa State on the road next Saturday. The Sooners go to Texas on Wednesday before hosting Texas A&M at home Saturday.
