The No. 21 UNLV Runnin' Rebels hosted the Air Force Falcons Saturday afternoon in a Mountain West Conference matchup. As Air Force's 3-8 MWC record entering the game could have foretold, the Rebels had little trouble dispatching the visitors. UNLV picked up the 68-58 win to improve to 8-4 in the conference, with an overall record of 24-6.

UNLV jumped out to a big lead early. They entered halftime leading by a score of 37-23 and never looked back. Chace Stanback led all scorers in the game as he put up 21 points for the Rebels, along with eight rebounds and three steals. Michael Lyons put up 18 points for Air Force.

The Rebels will play their next game on Wednesday, Feb. 29, when they visit the Colorado St. Rams. Air Force will also play on Wednesday, as they hit the road to take on the No. 18 New Mexico Lobos.
