The Minnesota Golden Gophers were attempting to keep their slim NCAA Tournament hopes alive on Sunday afternoon against the Indiana Hoosiers. The Gophers came out flat and never recovered, however, losing their fifth straight game and all but eliminating their postseason hopes.
No. 23 Indiana Vs. Minnesota: Hoosiers Simply Too Much For Golden Gophers
The Indiana Hoosiers killed any NCAA Tournament berth hopes the Minnesota Golden Gophers had with their 69-50 road victory on Sunday afternoon.

Standout freshman Cody Zeller scored just seven points for the Hoosiers, but that's all Indiana needed out of him as they cruised to a 69-50 victory. Victor Oladipo paced Indiana with 12 points, eight rebounds, two steals and a block while Jordan Hulls and Christian Watford also scored 12 points, though the latter two didn't fill up the box score as well.
The Gophers had just one player score in double figures as Austin Hollins hit three of his five three-point attempts to finish with 14 points. Ralph Sampson III, the team's only senior, struggled something awful as he made just one of his 11 field goal attempts to finish with four points and three rebounds. The Gophers shot just 31 percent as a team.
