We return to Columbus with Penn State mid-drive at midfield. It's back to Evan Royster for the bulk of the touches; he rushes three times for short yardage, but the real movement comes from a 10-yard Matt McGloin pass to Derek Moye and a 16-yard Ohio State penalty. With 11:48 remaining in the half, McGloin hits Moye again for a 6-yard touchdown pass, and it's 14-3, Penn State.
The Buckeyes turn to Daniel Herron, who manages short-lived runs of three and seven yards before breaking through for a 33-yard gain. A Pryor sack three plays later forces another OSU punt.
Penn State opens up the Time Of Possession Gimme Gimme Playbook, taking almost six minutes to creep from their own 1-yard line to Ohio State's 20 before finally stalling out on fourth-and-one. The Buckeyes go three-and-out. Two insignificant plays by PSU, and we're through. At the half, the Nittany Lions lead the Buckeyes, 14-3 in Columbus.
