South Carolina Vs. Mississippi State Final Score: Marcus Lattimore Injury Mars Cocks Victory

The good news for the South Carolina Gamecocks: a 14-12 conference win over a grueling opponent, the Mississippi St. Bulldogs. The bad news: Marcus Lattimore left late with a left leg injury. Here's a photo of him being walked off the field on crutches with his leg heavily wrapped:

Lattimore was held to only 39 yards on the day in a game that was light on offense. In his first start as Carolina's definite, absolute starter, Connor Shaw threw for 154 yards on 27 attempts, including a touchdown throw to Aslhon Jeffery.

The other starter, Tyler Russell, completed only 11 of his 27 efforts. This game also saw a minor Dylan Favre appearance. Those are important to track.
