VIDEO: Brandon Weeden Takes Smartest Safety Ever, May Remember Every Safety Ever

What's that? You get a safety when you step out of the back of the end zone? Why, it wasn't like that back in Brandon Weeden's day, sonny!

Weeden, who is 969 28 years old, actually made a rather smart play by accident: his safety on this play prevented the pick-six Texas got on his throw, meaning that Texas would be 12 points back rather than eight.

And considering that the final margin in the game was 12 points, with the safety ending up as the final scoring play, well, Weeden may have saved Oklahoma State by accident.

Hey, you know who else unintentionally saved his team accidentally and partially by being old? Methuselah.
