VIDEO: Will Muschamp Explodes After Chris Rainey Fumble Call

Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp is known to emote vividly over just about everything. But this call, from Saturday night's tight loss to the Auburn Tigers, was absolutely worth a stream of peppery Boomisms (it really gets going around the one-minute mark):

As you can see, Chris Rainey had very little space in which to secure that punt, whether he'd signaled a fair catch or not. He waves his hand late in the process and doesn't get it clearly above his head, but that doesn't matter as far as proximity is concerned.

Not only should it have been Gators ball, they should’ve gotten a penalty boost. But since a flag wasn’t thrown, officials had to work with what happened on the field. What happened was Auburn picked up the ball.

Since the game was scoreless at that point and Auburn put up a touchdown shortly after, who’s to say the 17-6 final wouldn’t look quite a bit different if this one had OH WHO ARE WE KIDDING Auburn games always work out this way.
