Vanderbilt Vs. Arkansas Score Update: Zac Stacy Helps Commodores Keep Lead Entering Fourth Quarter
Stacy bolted 62 yards for a touchdown midway through the third quarter, stopping a 10-0 Arkansas run and getting the ‘Dores’ home crowd back into a game that seemed to be irreversibly swinging the Razorbacks’ way. The run makes up for the heinous interception Stacy threw earlier in the quarter, and added to Vandy’s success on the ground.
Five Vanderbilt runners have combined to give the Commodores 190 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, and while Stacy has the lion's share of that, with 115 rushing yards, quarterback Jordan Rodgers (yes, Aaron Rodgers' brother!) has two scores on the ground.
Arkansas has since gotten another field goal to cut the Vanderbilt lead to 28-20 entering the fourth quarter. And the Razorbacks have been excellent at engineering comebacks this year, too. But Vanderbilt seems unwilling to go gently.
