We knew the sledding would be tough as Penn State and Illinois played a fun game of football in frigid weather. So the 0-0 halftime score shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, especially considering both teams boast strong defenses and offenses that simply grind it out. But this is pretty bad.
Penn State Vs. Illinois Halftime Score: What Score?
Both teams are under 100 yards of total offense, combining for 176 yards in the half. Passing, as expected, is almost non-existent, with Penn State throwing for 33 yards and Illinois picking up 22 yards through the air. And each team has two turnovers -- Penn State fumbled twice while Illinois fumbled once and threw an interception.
This may be a race to seven, but tune-in for punting!
