Oklahoma Vs. Kansas State Final Score: Sooners Dominate Second Half, Win 58-17

Oklahoma was clinging to a 23-17 lead over Kansas State at the half, but you wouldn’t know it from the final score. The Sooners came out of the half gunning, turning a 23-17 lead into a 58-17 win, keeping the Wildcats off the board in the second half while putting up points in bunches.

It was a superb bounce-back game for the Sooners, who were knocked off their pedestal last weekend by Texas Tech. Landry Jones was his usual self, throwing for 505 yards and five touchdowns. Jones also threw two interceptions, both of which came in the first half.

Ryan Broyles piled up the stats again, catching 14 balls for 171 yards and a touchdown. Roy Finch carried the ball nine times for 73 yards and a score to lead the way on the ground.

Colin Klein was the only source of offense, but was never able to get anything going through the air for the Wildcats. Klein passed for just 58 yards, completing eight of his 16 attempts. He did, however, carry the ball 26 times for 92 yards and two touchdowns.

The loss was Kansas State’s first on the year and both teams now sit at 7-1 overall and 4-1 in Big 12 play.
