Tajh Boyd Injury Update: MRI Negative, Clemson QB Questionable For Maryland Game

Clemson fans can breathe a sigh of relief, even if they're trapped in B1G country: Tajh Boyd should be fine after being carted off the field with a leg injury on Saturday. Boyd left Saturday's matchup with Boston College after a scary hit appeared to damage his knee and leg, though officials later deemed it an "upper leg injury." Following the game, Boyd was set to have an MRI in an effort to assess what, if any, damage there was.

But good news! The MRI was negative, indicating the damage probably wasn’t too serious.

Tajh Boyd update from Clemson: X-rays/MRI on his hip negative. Status for Maryland game would be termed questionable at this point.

No clue what is ailing him, but it doesn’t appear to be as bad as it looked at the time. We’ll be back with more on Boyd as it becomes available.
