USC Trojans head coach Lane Kiffin was fined $10,000 by the Pac-12 for comments he made after his team lost in triple-overtime to the Stanford Cardinal. Kiffin claimed he was told his team would have a chance to call a last-second time out and thus try for a game-winning, 50-yard field goal, but the opportunity never arose.
