Days ago, it looked to some like Penn State-Nebraska might not even happen. Wednesday night, you might have worried about violence in the stands. Penn State fans have proved there’s no way this game could’ve been canceled, along with showing there’s no need to fear for anybody’s safety today.

Before the game, Nebraska players and coaches joined the Nittany Lions for a midfield prayer as Beaver Stadium fell silent. A video from the press box by Sports Illustrated’s Andy Staples:

Shortly after, Penn State punted, and it became clear that for the next three hours, the only thing anybody needs to worry about is whether anybody will score until the fourth quarter. Feels pretty good.
