Oregon Vs. Stanford Final: The Luck Runs Out For The Cardinal, Ducks Win 53-30

The Stanford Cardinal had won 17 straight games, the longest active streak in the FBS division. Their last loss was against the Oregon Ducks, who snapped the current streak tonight in dominant fashion. It was a rough night for Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck, who threw for just 227 yards with 3 touchdowns, but also threw 2 interceptions. Turnovers killed the Cardinal, as they had five total for the night after just seven turnovers for the rest of the season.

The Oregon Ducks offense rolled right along like it has all season, most of it on the ground. LaMichael James once again made a push to be in the running for the Heisman Trophy, picking up another 146 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns on just 20 carries. As a team, the Ducks ran the ball for 232 yards. The Ducks had just a 6 point lead at the half, but poured it on and Stanford just couldn't keep up.

With Stanford no long undefeated, there is an outside chance the Ducks can get back into the National Title picture.
