Maryland Vs. Notre Dame Final Score: Irish Stomp Terrapins In 45-21 Victory

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish picked up a seventh win this season by defeating the Maryland Terrapins, 45-21. The Irish tallied 508 total yards of offense on the strong play of quarterback Tommy Rees and running backs Jonas Gray and Cierre Wood.

Rees was deadly accurate, competing 30-of-37 passes for 296 yards and two touchdown passes. Michael Floyd caught a 19-yard touchdown pass from Rees and Tyler Eifert hauled in a 34-yard score late in the fourth quarter.

Jonas Gray found the end zone twice on his way to 136 rushing yards while Cierre Wood pounded the end zone once and gained 99 rushing yards. Lo Wood picked off Danny O'Brien and returned it for a 57-yard touchdown.

O' Brien did throw a touchdown pass in the second quarter, but his team didn't score again until the fourth quarter. C.J. Brown found the end zone on a 24-yard run early in the fourth quarter and D.J. Adams entered the zone with 37 seconds left in the game.
