Ohio State Vs. Purdue Halftime Score: Boilermakers Finish Strong First Half With Lead

The Ohio State Buckeyes started their season with a disappointing 3-3 record, but it looked like they had improved quite a bit -- even taking a three-game winning streak into Saturday's game with the Purdue Boilermakers. Unfortunately the Buckeyes offense has reverted to its old form, however, trailing the Boilermakers to finish the first half down 17-7 at Ross-Ade Stadium.

The Boilermakers didn't have an excellent first half on the offensive side, but the quarterback tandem of Caleb TerBush and Robert Marve has been able to move the ball. Running back Ralph Bolden has been solid, too, as he's carried 11 times for 58 yards and a touchdown.

As far as the Buckeyes are concerned, quarterback Braxton Miller has completed four of eight passes for 79 yards and a touchdown, but the Buckeyes haven't been able to move the ball on the ground -- or even keep the ball in Ohio State's possession. The Buckeyes converted on just two of their seven third downs, giving the Boilermakers an eight-minute advantage in time of possession.
