Texas Vs. Missouri Final Score: First Half Offense Is All Tigers Need To Win, 17-3

Missouri did not score in the final 23 minutes of its game against Texas today. The good news for the Tigers is that they didn’t have to.

Missouri put two touchdowns on the board in the first half, tacked on a field goal early in the second and then shut down the Longhorns' offense for the 17-5 win. James Franklin started the game on fire, then settled down slightly to go 18-of-26 for 192 yards. Franklin and Kendial Lawrence both rushed for touchdowns, as Lawrence had 105 yards on 18 carries.

Texas' offense, meanwhile, managed just 249 yards of total offense on 65 plays. David Ash was 15-of-32 for 166 yards and an interception. Texas' top rusher, Jeremy Hills, ground out 36 yards on 11 carries. Now, the Longhorns wait to see if the loss will drop them from the Top 25.
