UCF Vs. Southern Miss Score: Golden Eagles Out To 10-3 Lead Over Knights

The Southern Miss. Golden Eagles hold a 10-3 lead over the Central Florida Knights in a Saturday night Conference USA battle. The Golden Eagles have pretty much wrapped up the East division title, but they won't want to squeak by in this one.

The Knights took an early 3-0 lead over the Golden Eagles on a Nick Cattoi 48-yard field goal. Roughly seven minutes later, Austin Davis and Bruce Johnson connected on a one-yard touchdown to go ahead, 7-3. Danny Hrapmann added a 28-yard field goal to extend the lead, 10-3.

Davis is 9-of-17 for 191 yards and had been most of the offense until Quentin Pierce picked up 23 yards in one play on the ground during that scoring drive. Kelvin Bolden and Ryan Balentine each have over 80 receiving yards for the Golden Eagles.
