Cal Vs. Arizona State Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More
Arizona State close out their 2011 regular season schedule against Cal on Friday night.
Quarterback Brock Osweiler is second in the Pac-12 with a 307.0 yards per game average and running back Cameron Marshall is closing in on the school's single-season rushing touchdown mark, but the Sun Devils have dropped three straight to fall to 4-4 within the conference. Osweiler has passed for 3,377 yards and 21 touchdowns, with Gerrell Robinson leading the team with 61 receptions for 1,100 yards and six touchdowns.
Osweiler could have trouble against a Cal pass defense that ranks first in the Pac-12, allowing just 204 yards per game. Sophomore cornerback Steve Williams has a team-high 10 passes defensed and is one of four Golden Bears with two interceptions. Running back Isi Sofele powers the offense, running for 1,121 yards and eight touchdowns on the season, taking some pressure off of quarterback Zach Maynard, who is completing just under 56 percent of his 346 pass attempts for 2,565 yards and 16 touchdowns.
