Georgia puts its nine-game win streak on the line against Georgia Tech on Saturday in a matchup of intrastate rivals with Top 25 rankings.
After losing its first two games of the season, No. 13 Georgia has been on a tear. The Bulldogs have won nine straight games and clinched the SEC East and a spot in the conference title game last week with a win against Kentucky. All that’s left for the Dawgs to do in the regular season is win this matchup in Atlanta on Saturday.
The No. 25 Yellow Jackets (8-3, 5-3 ACC) have had a strong season as well, led once again by their rushing attack, which enters this game ranked No. 2 in the nation with 323.5 yards per game. But unlike the Bulldogs, Georgia Tech has stumbled a bit downthe stretch, losing three of its last five games including a losses to Virginia Tech and Virginia which dropped the Yellow Jackets out of contention for a spot in the ACC title game.
