Notre Dame and Stanford continue what's become a yearly rivalry, of sorts, on Saturday as the Cardinals play host to the Fighting Irish with their BCS dreams still alive. With Andrew Luck at the helm, the Cardinal have experienced just one bump in the road this season, falling to Oregon in a matchup of Pac-12 titans for the second year in a row. And while the Cardinal's hopes for a BCS title are likely over, Stanford still has a shot at a major BCS bowl, but it needs a win over Notre Dame this weekend.

The Fighting Irish come into the matchup as winners of four-in-a-row and eight of their last nine, with only a loss to USC breaking up the streak. Quietly, Notre Dame has climbed back into the rankings, checking in at No. 22 this week. But the Fighting Irish face, arguably, their toughest test of the year, on the road against a powerful Stanford squad with a potential Heisman winner running the offense.

It all gets underway in prime time, live from California. Here’s the information for Saturday’s game.

Game date, time: 8:00 pm ET, Saturday, Nov. 26

Location: Stanford Stadium, Stanford CA

TV channel: ABC

Spread: Stanford favored by seven

Series history: Notre Dame leads, 18-7
