The Iron Bowl should in theory be the most bitter in years. Auburn beat Alabama with the biggest comeback in series history last year. A deranged Bama fan responded by poisoning Auburn landmark Toomer’s Oaks with insecticide. None of this helped what was already one of college football’s most acrimonious rivalries, so it is a relief to see everyone’s sense of humor is still alive and intact for pregame today.
