Cincinnati Vs. Syracuse Final Score: Munchie Legaux Leads Bearcats To Big East Bedlam

The Cincinnati Bearcats have ensured that the Big East title won't be decided until the conclusion of next weekend's game following their victory over the Syracuse Orange on Saturday afternoon. The Bearcats only led 10-6 at halftime, but opened up the offense in the second half on the way to a 30-13 victory.

Backup quarterback Munchie Legaux, in for Zach Collaros after the starter suffered a broken ankle earlier in the season, threw for two touchdowns and 169 yards in the victory. Legaux's 69-yard strike to Isaiah Pead in the fourth quarter was the final nail in the coffin -- and Pead's second touchdown after 24-yard rushing touchdown earlier in the game.

Syracuse converted just four of its 15 third-down attempts, allowing the Bearcats to keep a stranglehold on the lead despite just one turnover in the game. Running back Antwon Bailey rushed for 135 yards on 27 attempts, but was unable to find his way into the end zone.
