Border War 2011 Score: Missouri Keeping Kansas In Game With Turnovers

Despite having outgained Kansas by more than 150 yards at the end of the fourth quarter, Missouri is only leading by seven points, 17-10. In fact, Kansas is still flirting with the 100-yard mark in total offense for the game.

But the Tigers have helped keep the Jayhawks in the game by turning the ball over five times via three James Franklin interceptions and a pair of fumbles. Overall, Franklin is 11-of-18 passing for 111 yards and a touchdown against the three picks. The touchdown came on a 25-yard pass to Wes Kemp following a Kendial Lawrence two-yard touchdown run, the two scores accounting for 14 third-quarter points to give Missouri the lead.

For Kansas, Jordan Webb is 7-of-15 for 40 yards and a pick. The Jayhawks still have not scored since a pick-six early in the second quarter.
