The Alabama Crimson Tide are going to finish the regular season ranked No. 2 in the country, and unless the Oklahoma St. Cowboys can throttle the Oklahoma Cowboys, they'll see the LSU Tigers again in New Orleans. The 2011 Iron Bowl's final score: 42-14.
Auburn Vs. Alabama 2011 Final Score: No Iron Bowl Comeback This Time
At one point in the fourth quarter, Alabama's defense had gained only nine fewer yards than had the Auburn Tigers offense. A 35-yard interception return by Dee Milliner made it 35-14 with about 14 minutes left, slamming the door on the faint, whispy hopes of another Auburn comeback.
Trent Richardson finished with 208 final yards, 70 more than Auburn's entire offense.
Bama concludes its year with zero regulation losses and a solitary setback, which came against the nation’s top team. It’ll take either a human revolt or against the concept of a rematch or an astounding performance by OSU to thwart an all-SEC national championship game. It doesn’t appear that even a LSU loss in the SEC Championship can stop this train.
