Purdue Vs. Indiana Final Score: Boilermakers Become Bowl-Eligible After Defeating Hoosiers, 33-25

The Purdue Boilermakers are bowl-eligible for the first time since the 2007 season after a 33-25 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers. The Boilermakers had to wait until the last game on its schedule to make this happen, but they had to work for it.

The Hoosiers had led, 17-10, midway through the second quarter before the Boilermakers started to pull away in the game. Kicker Carson Wiggs played an important role for Purdue by kicking four field goals, including a long of 48 yards. That one came with just five seconds left in the second quarter and gave Purdue the lead as they entered halftime.

After a scoreless third quarter, Wiggs hit on a 22-yard field goal with 13:13 left in the game and then saw his team score roughly two minutes later when Antavian Edison rushed for a five-yard touchdown. Indiana's D'Angelo Roberts countered with his own five-yard touchdown run a few minutes later. A successful two-point conversion brought the game to 33-25, but that was as close as Indiana could make it in the final minutes of the game.
