West Virginia Vs. USF Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More

No. 22 West Virginia closes out their 2011 regular season schedule against South Florida on Thursday night.

No. 22 West Virginia Mountaineers conclude their 2011 regular season schedule against the South Florida Bulls at Raymond James Stadium, on Thursday night.

The Mountaineers are coming off a 21-20 win over the Pittsburgh Panthers in the 104th edition of the "Backyard Brawl" at Milan Puskar Stadium last Friday. West Virginia trailed 20-7 in the third quarter, but a pair of Shawne Alston touchdowns runs in the second half lifted the Mountaineers to their eighth win in 11 contests this season. For Alston, the two scores against Pittsburgh improved his season to a team-high 10, nearly half of the 21 rushing touchdowns the Mountaineers have this season. Leading rusher Dustin Garrison (655 yards) has five touchdowns.

South Florida needs a win to claw back to .500 on the season. After a 4-0 start, the Bulls have dropped six of their seven games, including a 34-24 loss to the Louisville Cardinals last Friday. The hot start and cool finish to the season meshes with how the Bulls have played this season, outscoring opponents 206-90 in the first half this season, with their opponents outscoring them by a 152-118 margin after the break. The Bulls are being outscored 94-56 in fourth quarters and overtime periods this season.

Location: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida

Spread: Mountaineers are favored by two points
