Navy Vs. Army 2011 Score Update: Trent Steelman Cuts Lead

The Navy Midshipmen came into their annual game against the Army Black Knights with favored status. They've looked the part so far, building a 14-0 lead in the first half.

Alexander Teich scored the second touchdown, a 10-yarder to conclude a 55-yard drive.

But Trent Steelman responded moments later with his 12th rushing touchdown of the year, a 34-yard dash, to make it 14-7.

We’ve still seen just one total pass attempt so far, so that’s good.

Kriss Proctor has been the box score hero, breaking a 32-yard run up the right sideline and tallying 71 yards through 22 minutes. Raymond Maples, Army's other primary weapon, has 39 yards on five attempts, including a 17-yard rumble.

Fumbles have helped limit Army -- two have hit the ground, and two have woundup in Navy’s hands. The Middies lost a fumble of their own, but one is fewer than two, you see.
