PHOTO: Eric LeGrand Makes Sports Illustrated ‘Moment Of The Year’ Cover

Rutgers Scarlet Knights defensive tackle Eric LeGrand, paralyzed last year during a special teams hit, was voted "Moment of the Year" honors by Sports Illustrated readers, putting him and his teammates on this week's SI cover. The scene comes from before the West Virginia Mountaineers game, when LeGrand led Rutgers onto the field in his wheel chair as fans chanted his jersey number.

“So I left tire marks in the snow yesterday as I led my team out,” LeGrand said at the time. “Next time will be footprints.”
