The Post-Standard is reporting that Syracuse senior WR Marcus Sales is facing felony drug charges after being arrested Friday night.
Syracuse WR Marcus Sales Suspended Indefinitely Following Drug Arrest
According to Syracuse police reports, Sales and his brother were taken into custody after drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in their car after their vehicle was stopped for running a red light. Sales was driving without his driver’s license on him and there was an open alcohol container in the car as well.
Sales, along with his brother, is facing charges of fifth- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Sales ran a red light while driving without possession of a license in a car that contained baggies full of marijuana, Lortab (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) tablets and, my personal favorite, “other baggies with devil, superman and pit bull insignias on them.” Oh, and he was drinking alcohol while driving.
