For the first time since 2004 when they beat then No. 16 Texas A&M, the Baylor Bears have defeated a ranked team. The No. 14 TCU Horned Frogs have fallen, 50-48. TCU has had several streaks snapped with this loss (per ESPN's on-screen graphic): an eight-game season-opening win streak, an 11-game road streak, a 13-game overall streak and a 25-game regular season streak.
TCU Vs. Baylor Final Score: Bears Upset No. 14 Horned Frogs, 50-48, On Late Field Goal
Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III was outstanding for the entire game. He completed 21-of-27 passes for 359 yards and five touchdown passes. He found his receivers all night long, especially on the deep routes. However, Casey Pachall and the Horned Frogs rallied in the fourth quarter by scoring 25 straight points on three touchdown passes, two two-point conversions and a field goal. But it wasn't enough.
Griffin’s performance must certainly have put him on all the early Heisman Trophy watch lists. Can he continue this success?
