It’s become a kicking game all of a sudden as the Baylor Bears and TCU Horned Frogs march toward a nail-biting finish. After three and a half quarters of non-stop touchdowns and end-to-end action, both teams are relying on special teams, and this has heartbreak written all over it. Remember: these are two teams that have struggled to hit chip-shots so far, and it may just come down to a TCU field goal in the end.
TCU Vs. Baylor Score: Bears Reclaim Lead As Kickers Take Over
As it stands, Baylor holds a 50-48 lead with just over a minute to go. After TCU marched down the field to take the lead on a field goal, capping a 25-0 run, Baylor answered with one of its own. But with the way these two offenses have played, 1:04 may be entirely too much time.
TCU has a chance, and Casey Pachall has the hot hand, with three touchdown passes in the fourth quarter. And if the end is anything like the rest of the game, we’re in for some delicious ham in Waco.
