We’ve moved on to the Jimmer Fredette portion of this evening’s broadcast, which sort of tells you how this game has gone thus far. BYU finally found the end zone, scoring on a nifty pitch to J.J. DiLuigi for the score. Fredette, by the way, is on campus after hosting an all-star game on Thursday night, and is now hanging out on the sidelines. Wonder if he could suit up?
BYU Vs. UCF Score: Cougars Strike Back, Tie Game At 10
The Cougars’ touchdown broke a lengthy scoreless streak, with neither team doing anything of value in the second quarter. UCF put up 10 points in the first quarter, taking a 10-3 lead into the half.
BYU quarterback Jake Heaps finally began to find a rhythm in the third quarter, marching the Cougars down the field for the game-tying score with efficiency. DiLuigi’s run came on a third and short, with the Cougars taking advantage of an aggressive UCF defense by faking a fullback dive before the pitch outside.
These fans clearly were not impressed.
