Tommy Rees To Start For Notre Dame Vs. Michigan
Tommy Rees will start after taking over for the struggling Dayne Crist during Saturday’s loss to USF.

Rees started five games last season as a freshman in place of the injured Crist. Both quarterbacks were locked in competition throughout summer camp, with Crist ultimately earning the starting nod for USF. Crist was one of the prized quarterback recruits from his high school class, but he has struggled at Notre Dame despite his pedigree and was benched for the second half.
Notre Dame will head to Ann Arbor for the first night game in Michigan Stadium history. The Fighting Irish will be looking to avenge a 28-24 loss in which Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson racked up 502 yards of total offense including 258 yards rushing.
