Michigan Uniform Concept Drawings Are Frightening

Quick, everybody scream and yell!

A quick note: These are not real mock-ups. They are not real concepts, either. Still, the Michigan uniform photos above are fun fodder, if you like trainwrecks and irrational freak-outs.

The design comes from Charles Sollars, a man who likes to play around with uniform concepts. He’s done all the Big Ten teams in the past, and the uproar that exercise created was stupendous. Uniform trolling is the best, because uniforms are serious business.

However, as college football teams continue to experiment uniforms, perhaps some of the classics -- Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and the like -- will likely see some tweaks. We’ve already seen a few changes in the form of Nike’s Pro Combat uniforms, which essentially allow the company to experiment on the fly with new materials and designs.

Whether Michigan does receive a big facelift is not yet known, but for now we can all marvel at the uniform photo shown above.
