Danny O’Brien ‘Seriously Considering’ Maryland Transfer, According To Report

Will quarterback Danny O'Brien leave the Maryland Terrapins? It's the story of the afternoon! Get excited! After a report came out in which it was alleged O'Brien had already left the program, O'Brien himself denied the news. Now the Washington Post has weighed in, saying O'Brien is "seriously considering" an exit and will spend the weekend debating whether to transfer out or not.

Thus, the Randy Edsall-ea Maryland Transfer Count sits at a healthy eight for the time being. Maryland fans are in a fragile state and tracking the adventure’s every development, so please be sure and be extra nice to them through Monday.

Dan Hellie, the man who originally broke all this, is mostly standing by his story:

Dan Hellie@DanHellie I've seen @DannyOBrien5 tweet. Does not mean he is staying. We will see.
