LSU Football Spring Game 2012 Schedule, Rosters And More

The 2012 LSU Tigers spring football game is set for March 31 at 12:30 p.m. CT. At Tiger Stadium, obviously. Tune in as Zach Mettenberger lays claim to the throne left vacant by Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee, one of the nation's most confusing thrones.

Viewing: The game won’t be televised, but festivities will be broadcast on the extensive program radio network. Entry is free, with gates opening two hours before kickoff. The game won’t be televised, but it will be broadcast on LSU’s extensive radio network, with audio streamed live online here.

Participating: Rosters are available here for the Purple and White teams. Mettenberger and Tyrann Mathieu appear on White, while Russell Shepard and Brad Wing star for the Purple. Brad Wing, a punter, really is a star. No, Mo Isom isn't playing.

Running back Michael Ford, safety Craig Loston, linebacker Tahj Jones and receiver Kadron Boone will be among the injured players out. The good news regarding Loston's toe injury, says Miles, is that "few people die because of toes."

Recruiting: Here we have a fine list of expected visiting prospects, including Kameron Miles, Tim Williams, Eldridge Massington, Ra’Shaad Samples and Jeryl Brazil from Rivals’ top national 250.
