The Ohio St. Buckeyes football team is unlikely to be terribly pleased that one of their players was arrested in Shawnee Hills, Ohio over the weekend.

10TV in Ohio reports that senior tight end Jake Stoneburner was arrested on Saturday. The charge in the arrest was a count of obstructing official business. There are no details immediately available as to the nature of the charge in question or to the arrest.

Via VINELink, it is apparent that Stoneburner has already been released from custody on a bond.

Stoneburner was slated to be at the top of the tight end depth chart in the coming 2012 season. It is unclear how this arrest will affect his status with the team, if at all.

Stoneburner had a solid season in 2011, catching 14 passes for 193 yards and seven touchdowns. He has 37 career catches as a Buckeye.
