Syracuse and Pittsburgh will depart for the ACC in 2013, but the conference will add UCF, Houston, Memphis, SMU, Boise State and San Diego State the same year. Navy will join the Big East in 2015.
BYU announced it would leave its former conference, the Mountain West, in 2010 and is currently operating as an independent. Since their departure from the Mountain West, the Cougars have long been rumored as a candidate to join the Big East.
