Florida wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator Aubrey Hill has abruptly resigned at the start of fall camp, the team announced Friday. He was one of a handful of coaches named in the Nevin Shapiro report, and it would appear his departure is related to that story.

“Aubrey informed me he was resigning for personal reasons that have nothing to do with the University of Florida,” coach Will Muschamp said in a statement. “Aubrey didn’t want to be a distraction to our team and our football program and he thought it was best for him to move on.

The natural conclusion here:

Hill will be replaced by offensive coordinator Brent Pease and graduate assistant Bush Hamdan, former Boise State quarterback.
