Purdue Boilermakers’ senior quarterback Caleb TerBush has been suspended from today’s season-opening game against Eastern Kentucky, per a tweet from Glen Mason of the Big Ten Network. The specifics of the suspension have not yet been made available.
Purdue’s Caleb TerBush Suspended Just Before Opener
TerBush started all 13 games last year for Purdue, where he led the Boilermakers to a 7-6 record, going 4-4 in the Big Ten and defeating the Western Michigan Broncos in the Little Caesar’s Pizza Bowl. During the 2011 season, TerBush completed 171 of 277 attempts passing, good for a 61.7 completion percentage, 1,905 yards, and 13 touchdowns. He only threw six interceptions on the season. He also rushed for 219 yards and a touchdown on the season.
