Kentucky Vs. Louisville Halftime Score: Cardinals Lead Wildcats, 22-7

The Louisville Cardinals have the edge in the Governor's Cup midway through, taking a 22-7 advantage at halftime. Perhaps even more impressive, the Cardinals scored touchdowns on their first three possessions.

Louisville’s offensive line is having its way with the Wildcats’ defensive front, getting off the ball quickly and allowing the Cardinals’ backs to work their way down field. With all the success in the run game, Louisville is controlling the time of possession (19:43 to 10:17) and dominating in rushing yards (136 to 62).

The Cardinals' first three drives went for 85 yards or more. Louisville's first touchdown drive went 15 plays, 99 yards, took eight minutes and 21 seconds and resulted in a one-yard touchdown run by Jeremy Wright, plus the two-point conversion.

Senorise Perry scored on a 47-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.
