The Jaguars are just 1-2 this season, with a blowout loss against North Carolina State coming most recently. The two schools have never played each other.
Led by junior quarterback Tyler Russell, a win for the Bulldogs would sustain their momentum before the meat of their SEC schedule arrives. The game is not expected to be close, although Mississippi State knows they cannot take anyone lightly this year.
